The Northern Cape is home to numerous distinct cultures and offers the purest example of wild nature. Everyone can find something to enjoy here, including thrill-seekers, 4×4 explorers, hikers, and safari enthusiasts.
Visitors can have a completely different experience of South Africa thanks to the stunning coastline and several unique national parks. One of the world’s most distinctive floral kingdoms and magnificent parks with an abundance of games are located here.
The area is well-known for the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, the ancient rock art in the Karoo, the amazing flowers of Namakwa, the Diamond fields, and the Anglo-Boer war battlefields. The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, which was created by combining the Kalahari Gemsbok National Park in South Africa with the Gemsbok National Park in Botswana, spans an area of more than 3.6 million hectares and is one of the last large conservation areas in the world. The park offers a variety of Park’s Board Rest Camps, but neither private camps nor lodges are located there.
The Richtersveld National Park, Tankwa Karoo National Park, and Augrabies Falls National Park are also noteworthy parks in the Northern Cape. Once again, the only lodging options are Park’s Board Rest Camps.
