Kibale National Park is home to one of Uganda’s most pristine tropical forests, spanning an area of approximately 795 km2. The park’s northern and central regions are covered in forest, which is home to chimpanzees and other forest animals.
Kibale is conveniently close to the Ndali-Kasenda crater and only requires a 30-minute drive to reach the Toro Semliki Wildlife Reserve, Semliki National Park, and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
For chimpanzee tracking, Kibale Forest National Park is among the top safari locations in Africa.
