Discover Australia’s Sunshine State of Queensland
Australia’s ‘Sunshine State’ is home to some of the icons of Australian life; the long sandy beaches of the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, Fraser
When it comes to adventure and breathtaking landscape, Australia continues to deliver. This is a country that has it all, no matter what you’re looking for in your dream holiday. From the unspoiled beaches of Queensland’s Gold Coast, to the rich red deserts of the Australian Outback and Uluru. Not forgetting Mother Nature’s beautiful creation that is the Great Barrier Reef, mountainous Flinders Ranges in the South and the wetlands of the Northern Territory.
Buzzing cities like Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth are all waiting to be explored, offering exceptional cuisine and world-class restaurants, an immersive laid-back culture, iconic sights and memorable things to do via some of the world’s most recognisable landmarks. Why not check out the surfing, eateries, designer shops while taking a stroll around Bondi Beach? Or take a day trip to one of Brisbane’s idyllic neighbouring islands? Travel options within Australia are as diverse as the country itself, and it’s all just waiting to be explored.
Generally speaking, the best time to visit the South of Australia and for the warmest weather, is from November to March. Bear in mind however that at Christmas time, which is the Australian summer holiday, beaches and attractions can be more crowded and prices can be higher. If you are visiting the Northern Territory, the best time to travel is between May to October. If you are planning a tour, remember that the southern coasts will be warmer in summer and cooler in winter. Head north or further inland during the winter.
