Kenya is a top travel destination in the world because of its incredible diversity of wildlife, landscapes, and cultures.
Africa’s first safari destination, Kenya has long drawn travellers, explorers, and adventurers. It is one of the best locations to witness these five amazing species in their native habitat. It is home to Africa’s renowned ‘Big Five’ (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo).
Kenya boasts an amazing variety of wild habitats, each home to a distinct range of wildlife. The list includes open savannah, deep forests, freshwater lakes, alpine meadows, beaches, caverns, coral reefs, and river deltas. In Kenya, a safari entails more than just animal viewing. This is a chance for you to immerse yourself in a wild world where the fascinating natural behaviour and interaction between species will keep you enthralled.
Kenya has a distinct rainy season which can have an impact on any safari and means that many camps and lodges close as Parks and Reserves become inaccessible. There are lighter rains in November and December, but the longer hard rains are from March to June, peaking in April and May. Visitors will be rewarded with much lower visitor numbers, lots of young animals and wild flowers.
″I have had the pleasure of travelling to Kenya on a number of occasions. As well as arranging tailor made itineraries and tours to all of these destinations, I have also put together many memorable Kenya holidays for my clients”
