Betty and Ces Davies open a Travel Agency in a small room above a News Agents in Gresford…and call it Delmar World.
1964
Delmar makes its move from above a paper shop to securing its own piece of land! The shop you see today has been built on and expanded significantly over the years.
1989
Delmar introduces their appointment system.
2000
Ann is appointed Director for Worldchoice UK (a consortium for independent travel agents).
2002
Howard becomes a board member for ‘Visit USA’ at the US Embassy in London as the voice of the UK travel agent.
2002
Delmar becomes Chester and North West’s only Travel agent to be accredited the prestigious ABTA Gold Award.
2018
Delmar launch their sister company, Perfect Cruises providing a platform from which Delmar can showcase and share the best cruise offers, as well as ensuring you find your perfect voyage.
2019
After over 55 years of business in Gresford, Delmar embark upon a significant new chapter and open a second branch in Heswall.
